Local 942's Training in Excellence Our new Training Center is designed to meet the needs of our contractors and our members. Because we provide the best available manpower to our signatory contractors it only makes sense that we have the best available training facilities. The new center provides us with a centrally located facility that ensures the LIUNA Code of Performance will be met while our trained Construction Craft Laborers find themselves with much-improved careers that give them increased work opportunities through enhanced skill levels and increased numbers of certifications.

Chartered November 1, 1946, Laborers Local 942 is an affiliate local of the Laborers International Union of North America. Originally a construction union, today Local 942 also represents service contract workers, transit workers, tourism industry workers, and pipeline maintenance workers. We have also crafted a unique cooperative agreement with many of the Interior's Athabascan Indian tribes. | |
